Things to look forward to this year will include a Dinner cruise on Friday evening. Agenda for Saturday and Sunday includes CME sessions, cultural programs,  formal banquets with live entertainment, and a bus trip to visit Oak Creek Gurdwara near Milwaukee airport on Sunday afternoon. Our major focus this year again is to attract young Sikh physicians and dentists. We are offering meeting grants to medical/dental students, residents, and fellows to help with the cost of attending NASMDA meeting. If you know of any that may be interested please advise them to download the registration packet and apply for the travel assistance via the relevant forms.

We had a very productive & lively meeting in New Jersey this past October, and we hope to continue with that momentum into this year’s annual meeting. Your executive committee is working diligently to put on a wonderful & productive program for all of you.

Once again, for those of you who have younger generation physicians, dentists, residents, fellows, and medical/dental students in the family or community; encourage them to attend this year’s meeting. NASMDA is a great place to learn & network.

Please gift life membership to your sons/daughters and encourage others to become life members since we have a new fee structure as explained in the membership form. This will help in strengthening our organization.
